TRAIN
The Kraków Airport train station is located near the passenger terminal, at the rear of the multi-storey car park. Travelling by train is the fastest way to get from the airport to the city center (the journey takes about 20 minutes). Train operates 7 days a week. Full timetable available here. The bus terminates at the National Museum which is located in the city centre. Journey takes around 30 minutes. Kraków-Balice Airport is located in zone I+II Aglomeration (one way ticket price in zone I+II Aglomeration: 6,- PLN). We reccomend to use bus connection browser.
The Main Railway Station (Dworzec Główny) is conveniently situated in the very center of the city. There is a good train connection between Warszawa and Kraków (Express or Inter City trains go every hour during day, journey lasts less than 3hr). Kraków has direct connections with: Berlin, Budapest, Prague, Vienna. Taxi stand you will find outside the main entrance as well as at the top floor car park. Local train connections available here.

Kraków is located 300 km south of Warsaw. The A4 motorway, via Wroclaw and Katowice, leads to Kraków from Western Europe. The speed limit in Poland is generally 50km/hr in cities, 90km/hr outside urban areas, 120km/hr on dual carriageways and 140km/hr on motorways. All cars must have their headlights switched on at all times and carry a red warning triangle, first aid kit, replacement bulbs, a national identity sticker and proper registration and insurance documents.
Traffic restriction zones (P1 - P6) are obligatory in the city from Monday till Saturday, 10.00 am - 8.00 pm. The conference venue is located in the city center, in paid zones. It is necessary to pay parking fees within paid zones ( price 6,- PLN/per hour;). Parking cars in these zones without payment of parking fees is prohibited, except in the case of vehicles belonging to persons or organizations granted free access and parking public transportation vehicles in designated area. Parking is permitted only in designated areas. Absolute priority is given to pedestrians and the maximum driving speed should not exceed 20km/h. More details here.
